VENDORS – Contribute to support Friends of Last Thursday’s community-management of this fun, art-ful event. Look for the support envelopes passed out by your friendly neighborhood FOLT Ambassadors.

Changes in 2013 include vendor sign-up in advance and required donations for NON-ART vendors. Watch this website for NEW in 2013 Vendors for ways to stay involved and up-to-date.

VOLUNTEERS – It’s not too late to get in the groove and contribute a couple hours to make all the fun go round. Sign up on the Volunteer page, get a T-shirt, refreshments and beer that night and much love and appreciation by the Alberta Community.

SUPPORTERS – WE love those who love Last Thursday. Your support keeps the toilets ever-present, clean up crews fully supplied, volunteers treated, safety enhanced – and so much more! Make it happen by clicking on the DONATE button right now.

A WORD ON SOUND:
To be in sound compliance with the city ordinance all music must not be heard past 100′ or half a block. This includes music on restaurant and bar patios, private parties as well as on the street both within and outside of the street closure. The city noise officer will be on site for August and if warnings from Last Thursday Ambassadors are not adhered to, then a ticket may be written. Tickets are $500 per musician! Help us get the word out. We want the teen playing the violin on the corner to be heard too.

FOLT Volunteer Ambassadors will be educating and supporting vendors, artists and attendees to strengthen respect for the event and neighborhoods.

FOLT Street Ops  – Alberta Street is closed from 15^th to 30^th.  In May, FOLT will be shadowing PBOT to learn fast efficient street closing techniques. Street Ops Teams will be handling garbage, recycling and street closure for the event. Attendees and participants should “Leave No Trace” and plan to take away garbage and stuff. Street Ops volunteers will also be assisting with 27th Ave bus bump to keep Tri Met buses flowing.

FUNDRAISING

Beer Garden @19 & Alberta Collaborating with Rose City Vaudeville, proceeds will go to support Last Thursday expenses.

Supporters – Help pay for monthly street closure costs, volunteer t-shirts & rewards, toilets, hired security, plus garbage & recycling materials.  Look for Donation Stations at both ends, near 15^th & 30^th and by the Information Booth at 19^th. Volunteers will be there to help attendees support Last Thursday!

Last Thursday Merchandise – Look for designated art and craft items while attending Last Thursday and support the event with purchases of glow-in-the dark identity bands and calendars.

Weather permitting, (and why wouldn’t it be a beautiful day) we’ll enjoy a potluck picnic and talk about the strategies and guidelines for Last Thursday on Alberta this summer. Join in the plans to make this a “Best Of” event in Portland.
