Musicians & Street Performers
Musicians & Street Performers may set up without fee or registration. If you set up earlier in the day, please refrain from performing in the street until the 6 pm street closure.
Because there are no assigned spaces we ask that you self-manage your space in partnership with the community and other vendors. Musicians, please be sensitive to your placement relative to other performers on the street.
Last Thursday complies with city sound ordinances. Code requires that street musicians should not be audible farther then 100 feet away (about 1/2 block). If you flow over the specified decibel level, our Ambassadors will give you a friendly turn it down reminder. After two requests, you may be at risk for a citation (Please be aware that noise violations from the City are $500 for each musician)or you may be asked to leave the event.
Quiet hours start at 10 p.m. Alberta neighbors ask that you respect the neighborhood and leave quietly and promptly at 10 p.m. Thank you!
To ensure that you have a fun, safe and sustainable experience, we request that you read and comply with our Last Thursday Expectations:
